Yerlo processes only the data needed to find nearby places, keep optional favorites in sync, and maintain the app. The controller is Ulaş Sancak, Bakırköy, Istanbul, Türkiye. Contact: ulas.san@gmail.com.
Data we process
- Location and search: precise location and search text are sent to Supabase only to return nearby results. Yerlo does not retain location or search history.
- Optional account: name, email address, user identifier, and authentication data are processed through Apple or Google sign-in and Supabase Auth.
- Favorites: favorite place identifiers remain in Supabase until you remove them or delete your account.
- Analytics: Firebase Analytics processes app interactions, device/app identifiers, and coarse location derived from the network. Yerlo does not send precise location, search text, or favorite place identifiers in custom analytics events.
- Diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics processes crash and diagnostic data to help identify failures.
- Support: we process the information you include when you email us.
Providers and sharing
Service providers include Supabase, Firebase and Google Sign-In, Apple Sign in with Apple and device location/maps services, and Overture Maps for place records. They process data under their own terms and privacy notices where applicable. Yerlo does not sell personal data, show ads, or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Retention and control
Favorites remain until removed or the account is deleted. Authentication, analytics, diagnostics, and support data are retained only as needed for their stated purpose, provider settings, security, and legal duties. You can deny location access and still browse from the Istanbul overview. You can use browsing and search without an account.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or exercise other applicable rights by emailing ulas.san@gmail.com. We may verify account ownership before acting on a request. See Account Deletion for in-app steps.
This website
The Yerlo website stores only your language preference in local storage. It does not use advertising cookies or website analytics.
